COVID-19 TOURS UPDATE
At Australian Racing Tours we have had to cancel our upcoming Dubai World Cup, Sydney Championships and Kentucky Derby Tours due to current restrictions in place and we want to thank our clients for their understanding and patience in this difficult time for all. With a question mark now around our Royal Ascot and Irish Derby and other mid year tours we are in a day by day situation and will be in continuous contact with our clients and industry partners as more news comes to hand.
Although it is disappointing restricting access to our favourite sporting events such measures are necessary to protect everyone by reducing the risk of the spread of coronavirus and travel and racing in the future.
We want to thank all our clients who have travelled with us over the years and look forward to being back on deck as soon as we can and continue to provide our amazing clients access to world class thoroughbred racing at leading venues across Australia and Internationally.
We hope to be back for a bigger and better Spring Carnival this year, and an exciting year in 2021 with a couple of new tours to be announced.....did anyone say South African Safari & Races!
Do not hesitate to contact John or Monique to discuss anything at any time and again we thank you for your understanding.
BOOKINGS OPENING SOON
We’re hoping that The Everest will be our first tour back after this crisis, and our first Everest tour. Come check out Sydney for what could be a huge weekend of racing and fun if it is our first weekend back on track.
The Everest has grown into one of the premier races on the Australian racing calendar with over $10m in prizemoney and 12 highly fought after spots. It's also Caulfield Cup day in Melbourne so some fantastic racing to watch on the big screens as well.
We'll enjoy all that Sydney has to offer with great food, a harbour cruise, special racing guests and a visit to the famous Tommy Smith / Waterhouse stables at Randwick.
BACK AGAIN IN 2021 - REGISTER INTEREST
After a fantatastic trip in 2020, we're off back across the Tasman for a week-long trip to the beautiful North Island of New Zealand. We have again put together the perfect tour for the best in horse studs, scenery, wineries and a race meeting you won’t forget in Auckland for their Derby meeting.
The countryside is breathtaking and the Waikato area opens up to some of the finest horse studs in the world. Kiwi bred horses have won 43 of the Melbourne Cups run, and through the Waikato area, we'll visit the iconic farms of Cambridge and Waikato Studs, as well as Windsor Park and also Te Akau Racing. World-class thoroughbred nurseries that have produced some of the world’s best gallopers and stallions.

The Broome Turf Club is carved out of bushland at picturesque Gantheaume Point, just a stone's throw from world-famous Cable Beach. This idyllic location perched on the Broome peninsula is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and benefits from the constant cool breezes which are a welcome relief in the hot and humid climate of the Kimberley. In fact so unique is our location that the Broome Turf Club was recently rated by punters.com.au in their top 10 Stunning Racetracks You Have to See Before You Die.
Incorporating a vibrant Ladies Day on the Tuesday and an always sensational Broome Cup Day on Saturday – it leaves punters yearning for the next years season. Everyone who has ever had the pleasure of experiencing the Broome races always returns, for this is truly ‘the winter racing alternative’.

Thanks John for a fantastic time yet again at the Cox Plate. Our group of ten had an amazing experience seeing WINX win again. Might have to come back in 2018 or try something else.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Kentucky Derby and met some great people along the way. Loved our seats for the two days and still amazed at the massive 175,000 crowd.
